How Yamazing uses your email

What we collect

• Your email address, when you subscribe.
• The language you chose, so we send the story in that language.
• Basic email statistics (opens and clicks), kept by our email service.

We do not ask for your name. We do not sell or rent your address. We do not show ads.

Who holds it

Your address is stored by Buttondown, the service that sends our emails. This website does not keep a copy. Buttondown processes your address on our behalf.

What we use it for

One purpose: to email you the daily story, and the confirmation message when you sign up. Nothing else.

Double opt-in

After you sign up, we send one message asking you to confirm. You get stories only after you click it. If you did not sign up, ignore that message and nothing more is sent.

Leaving, and deleting your data

• Every email has an unsubscribe link. One click and you are off the list.
• To have your address deleted completely, reply to any of our emails and ask.

The website itself

Reading stories needs no account. Your passport stamps, theme and language are saved on your own device only. They are not sent to us.

Changes

If this page changes in an important way, we will say so in an email.
